SO, HOW DID IT ALL START?

A BIT OF CONTEXT…

“Andrea was a depressed, 150-kg overweight child 20 years ago. He tried every fad diet known to man in an effort to lose weight, but his efforts were all in vain. Whatever he tried, took, and did—diet after diet, pill after pill—did more harm to his body and psyche than good. After experiencing all the pitfalls, he came to the realization that his relationship with food was a result of the unhealthy, unsustainable, and extreme diet methods he had used. These methods had caused him to binge eat and gain weight, which had a negative impact on his mental and physical well-being. However, this young, miserable teenager never gave up, and through all of the difficulties and traps, he discovered his way, set off on a journey where he never looked back and completely turned his life around. He made the decision to invest in his own education and began studying to follow his love for the health and fitness industry. He eventually discovered the truth about nutrition and exercise science, separating fact from dogma, and combining all the scientific data, research, and studies with his years of education and experience to achieve the sculpted, healthy physique he had fought for so long. He ultimately overcame his food fears and now has a positive relationship with food. He is more muscular, leaner, and more physically fit than ever before, and he maintains a healthy, lean physique throughout the year. He also adapts his diet and exercise so that they fit his lifestyle while still allowing him to enjoy all foods in healthy moderation.

The 41-year-old motivational well known health and fitness expert who is pursuing an MSc in Nutrition and Exercise Science not only looks the part but also leads a fit and healthy lifestyle that allows him to eat the foods he loves and enjoys while still maintaining a healthy portion size for all foods. He is able to go out to eat, take part in social gatherings with friends and family, go on vacation, and enjoy himself while eating whatever he wants without feeling restricted and still being able to maintain a year-round lean physique.
Now, his passion is to help others achieve the same goals of living a lean, fit, and healthy lifestyle, helping them become the best versions of themselves, and permanently changing their physiques, mindsets, and lives without them having to endure pain and hardship due to a variety of extreme, unsustainable diets and exercise regimens. By teaching them the science, sharing the knowledge he has amassed over the years, providing them with the tools, and equipping them with healthy, flexible, and sustainable methods and practices that fit their specific needs and preferences, he hopes to help people achieve their physical and health goals. With the wealth of knowledge he has accumulated over the years, his education and training background, and having collaborated alongside like-minded experts in the field of health and fitness like Alan Aragon, Layne Norton, Eric Helms, Lyle McDonald, Broderick Chavez, Dave Palumbo, and Charles Glass, Andrea has formed a unique hybrid of methodologies to help all his clients achieve their fitness, physique, and health goals, and the most exhilarating part of it all is that they are maintaining their results. 

Andrea has helped transform thousands of people’s lives and has worked together with top professionals of the game such as international cricketer Nic Pothas, professional heavyweight boxer Kevin Lerena, and well-known professional bodybuilder Kevin Levrone. He has also been featured frequently in Men’s Health International, Men’s Health SA, Men Fitness, Musclevolution, and Muscle & Fitness magazines, as well as on numerous podcasts around the world, where he has shared his knowledge and life experiences.
Andrea wants to continue expanding his knowledge and abilities so that he can assist people and his clients as much as possible in reaching their goals while working toward his goal of obtaining a PhD in nutritional sciences.”
